Just to lighten things up with all the $1000 gold then drop and 9-9-09 what not, thought I would tell you all how I made my cheap plinkin target this weekend. I should start by stating I live out in the county and have the priveledge of shooting off my back deck.bancha
Store List:
1-3' x 5/16" allthread
2-8" x 5/16" eyebolds
1- Package 1 1/2" x 3" mending plates
1- Package fender washers
1- Package 5/16 nuts
Total price $10.31

I took some scrap wood and drilled a hole in it to accept 5/16" eyebolt, then attached mending plates to wood. Then I positioned the nuts, fender washers and eye bolts on allthread. Attached it to a tree and now I can shoot 22's at the plates and see when I hit, and never have to reset target.

Yeah, I know the directions are weak, but if you can survive TSHTF, then you should be able to understand what I did. Have fun, I know I am. About 300 rds so far!
